Family passion for olive trees
ur company was founded in 1947 by José Nucete Santiago, a Spaniard who left his land to settle at the foothills of the Andes mountains, an ideal region for growing olive trees.
He was the one that knew how to successfully combined the essence of his native Mediterranean with the favorable climate of the Cuyo region, starting the largest olive industry company in Argentina.
or generations, the Nucete family has been dedicated to supplying the domestic market of Argentina as well as the demands of the international market. Motivated by passion and effort, we have come to open and manage two factories in the country, in the provinces of La Rioja and Mendoza, as well as a distributing company in Brazil.
t was in 2014 – when the country’s economic model deeply affected regional economies – that the company was obliged to undergo restructuring and part with one of its factories in La Rioja. After several years of hard work, fortunately, Nucete was able to build a new production plant in this Province.
Currently, the company is still under the direction of the Nucete family, growing and producing the finest table olives and olive oil.
